Canvas Printing
Have you ever thought about printing one of your photographs on a canvas?
There are at least three ways to print up a canvas.
Styrene Canvas (DRY MOUNTED): a styrene canvas is a canvas print that has been attached to a mount board by a special adhesive. Styrene canvas is a good choice if you want the texture of a canvas and you want to frame it using a smaller type frame with or without glass. |
Stretched Canvas for Framing: a stretched canvas is a canvas that has been stretched taught over wooden bars. The stretcher bars are about as thick as a standard frame so they hang nicely on a wall all by themselves OR you can choose to dress your canvas up and frame it for a more formal look. |
Stretched Canvas Gallery Wrap: a stretched canvas is a canvas that has been stretched taught over wooden bars. Gallery Wraping the canvas allows for the canvas to be hung on the wall without purchase of a frame. This is a nice finish for canvas but the image must have extra area on the sides that might not be visable. |
Painted Canvas: a painted canvas is a “digital painting”. An artist hand paints special effects done in a photo editing software to give it the look of a painting. As you may know, to hire an artist to paint your portrait will cost thousands of dollars, but a digital painting costs as little as $99.00. You can either choose a stretched canvas or a styrene canvas to finish off this master piece.
